About the league
The Fairfax Over 50 Soccer League is a nonprofit league founded in 2002 in Fairfax County, Virginia. What started as a handful of players is now more than 330 registered players: fourteen 11v11 teams across two over-50 divisions, six 8v8 teams in the over-55 division, and an over-60 group about 50 players strong, all playing weekly evening matches on Fairfax County turf fields.
Field players are 50 or older. The league promotes lifelong fitness, fun, and friendship: competitive on the field, social off it, with certified referees, quality fields, and the most affordable dues in the county.
Kick it until you hit 100.
Fees
Dues are collected twice a year: once at the start of the Fall season, covering Fall and Winter, and once at the start of the Spring season, covering Spring and Summer. One payment plays you through both seasons of the cycle.
The prices below are for the current cycle. Each team's captain chooses how dues are paid: one flat team bill the captain collects privately, or a per-player rate the league collects directly, with a team minimum. Both come to the same place; pick what suits your team.
A new team joining mid-cycle pays an adjusted rate. Contact the commissioner.
The over-60 group is pay as you play: $10 per player per game, no season dues.
